Laying the right Foundation

 Have you ever been somewhere and saw someone with a great outfit on? Whether it is male or female doesn’t matter all you know is the pieces they put together are flowing and the outcome is great. You’re looking at them doing the good ‘ol once over and as you get to the feet you are so disappointed. I have found myself in that position and being so disappointed with the shoe game that I’ve actually stared at the show and said “Really?”

Sadly I believe we’ve all been found guilty of this at one time or another. Rushing, so we throw on the comfy shoe, or trying to dress something up and have on the wrong heel for the occasion. (You know what I’m talking about. The girl at the wedding who has on the shoes that she should be wearing for the club) All Flats are not the same and all Heels are not created equal. There are so many different types of flats so many variations in heels this accessory is one that should be well thought out.

 Shoes are an amazing accessory. Many times I build from the bottom up. What shoes am I in the mood to wear? After I pick that out I decide what pieces I want to do add. Shoes really speak loudly to an occasion and picking the right one will say whether you’re over or under dressed. Heels Platforms and Stiletto instantly spice an outfit up and appears you’re ready for a good time. Whether it be with your significant other, a girls night out or you celebrating you and taking yourself out!!! If you’re feeling more relaxed or casual ballets flats or loafers bring your outfit to a more down to earth level.

For my ladies who don’t wear heels due to lack of comfort there are so many solutions for you now . Wedges are once again back and very trendy . Everyone is wearing them and they make them in casual styles along with formal. With the invention of the amazing insoles for high heels that also opens up more styles for you. Now if you are new to heels I would not suggest you wear them on an outing where you are going to do a lot of walking, but always try out different styles and  push comes to shove keep a pair of ballet flats in the purse( I do)

As Much as I hate the winter, one of my favorite things about it is the opportunity to wear SHOE BOOTS. I absolutely love them and you can wear them with jeans, dresses, skirts, and winter shorts.  And if going with a flat boot, it’s simply an amazing way to wear a skirt or dress and still look dressed up and be comfortable. I love the look of a dress with a flat shoe boot  for a NY date night or any date night where you know you’re going to have to do a lot of walking.

Don’t neglect the thought of the shoe Beauties! It’s the foundation of the Outfit
